A Message to those who call Bethel Church Home:
On Sunday, July 28th, Pastors Tom and Robin Van Kempen resigned their positions and their last Sunday will be August 25th, 2019. If you weren't able to attend, please watch Pastor Tom's message on Seeking the Will of God; messages can be found with the button below. You won't want to miss this message's positive and encouraging teaching on God's very best plans for our lives.
As Bethel moves into transition, you may be asking yourself, how can I help? There are several practical ways to help.
Be Thankful. Consider, remember and express thanks to Tom and Robin Van Kempen for their season of ministry and how well it's served you, our church and the community. There will be a farewell reception for the Van Kempens on Sunday, the 25th of August, in the Life Center, immediately following the 11AM service. All are encouraged to attend.
Be In Prayer. The Wednesday night service of July 31st will be a time of prayer for Tom and Robin Van Kempen and Bethel Church as we seek God's will for our lives, our Pastors and Staff, and our Church. Also, the Fall 72 Hour Fast and Prayer called for September will emphasize prayer for our transition.
Be Faithful. The people of Bethel have long demonstrated faithfulness in attendance and giving of the Lord's tithe and offerings. Please maintain that faithful investment in Bethel's ministry here and around the world.
Be Confident. Our confidence is in the Lord. We can trust God that he understands and has a plan for us individually and as a church body. From Jeremiah 29:11 [NIV], we read, with confidence, "For I know the plans that I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
