Youth Pastors

Matt and Lynn Clayton have served in youth ministry for 14 years, with 10 years of Pastoral experience. Both Pastor Matt and Pastor Lynn have their Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from California State University Stanislaus as well as their License to Preach with the Assemblies of God. They have been married since 2000 and have one son, Isaiah. They currently have the privilege to serve as Youth Pastors at Bethel Church overseeing the Junior High and High School ministries. 

Together they share a passionate love for Jesus Christ and desire to see a generation of leaders birthed that will stop at no less than Gods best for their lives. Their mission is to see this generation of young people reclaimed for Jesus Christ - to see their faith elevated, connected as a family, and activated to use their talents and gifts to touch their world for Jesus. 

Prior to Bethel Church, Pastors Matt and Lynn served as CoPastors overseeing youth, young adults and schools of ministry. They have had the amazing opportunity to see rapid growth through their emphasis on evangelism and leadership development. The teenagers they have worked with have been impacted and challenged to minister to their generation. Matt and Lynn have had the privilege of seeing thousands of teenagers come to Christ throughout the past 10 years, hundreds active in their local churches as well as around the world through missions, and some equipped and sent into fulltime ministry.
