Pastor Bret Allen
Senior Pastor
Pastor Bret Allen is an ordained Assemblies of God minister and has been active in church leadership since 1980. He is married to Valerie, has two sons, Ryan and Andrew, and is currently the Senior Pastor of Bethel Church San Jose which sustains more than 160 ministries.
Prior to Bethel Church, Pastor Bret served as Youth Director at the Assemblies of God District Office where his responsibilities included training and equipping 450 Youth Pastors in the Northern California/Nevada District. He has a bachelor's degree in Communications from Eastern Washington University and a ministerial degree from Berean University and has traveled both nationally and internationally speaking at conferences and crusades.
Pastor Bret is the author of three books: Lead, Follow or Get Out Of The Way, Completing the Big Picture of Youth Ministry and Shift - Are You Relevant or Recent? His mentoring style of leadership promotes professional as well as personal growth. He inspires his colleagues, staff and church body to move beyond their comfort zone and boldly embrace God-given opportunities. Pastor Bret is a dynamic communicator with a Pastor’s heart focused on reaching out to the surrounding neighborhood of Bethel Church and beyond, equipping leaders, assisting the poor, caring for the sick and educating the next generation.
