School of Music

Music is a vital part of our lives. It isn't anything that we can see or touch, but it has the ability move us and express things that can not be put into words. Music is also a discipline that is considered to be one of the seven main areas of intelligence and has been shown to greatly improve cognitive development, especially in children.

The ideal window of opportunity for musical development is between the ages of 3 to 10, but music can be learned by anyone at any age. The music that draws each of us is as varied as each of our own personalities, but our hope is to equip you with the skills and principles that will allow you to play whatever interests you or even create your own music. We believe in a balanced approach that includes a thorough understanding of rhythm, notation, technique, music theory, and musical creativity.

Private instruction is available for piano, violin, guitar, drums, percussion, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, song-writing, and music theory.

Our experienced Christian instructors have extensive performance backgrounds and have been trained at some of the finest schools across the country and abroad. Private lessons are given in weekly 30, 45, or 60 minute appointments Monday through Friday and are offered afternoons and evenings. (Violin lessons are available mornings as well.) All lessons are given on campus in our spacious facility featuring large classrooms and a beautiful modern recital hall. Tuition rates vary as they are determined by the individual instructors. Call us for current rates.

Performance opportunities are available at our School of Music Recital Concerts as well as a variety of recitals sponsored by a number of our instructors. Our close affiliation with Bethel Church also allows for performance opportunities in services, productions, and special events. Recital participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
