Each child learns in different ways. That's why we believe that it is important to have a variety of avenues in teaching our children. Some of the many ways children learn through our Lit'l Chefs cooking classes are:
- Learning to Follow Directions (in order for the recipe to work)
- Learning to Read Directions (to get the desired results)
- Learning Math (simple fractions, measuring, sequencing skills)
- Creating Sensory Awareness (through taste, smell, touch, etc.)
- Vocabulary Enrichment (basic ingredients consist of small vocabulary words that provide young children with language enrichment - Words like: Milk, Eggs, Sugar, Flour)
- Learning Cause and Effect (children learn how adding, leaving out, or changing one ingrediant can change the entire outcome)
- Cooperation and Teamwork (working together means that they have to wait for their turn)
