Gymsters
Bethel's Preschool and Kindergarten is pleased to participate in
GYMSTERS. It is a motor development and physical fitness program that comes to the children at our school and is an ongoing program that runs throughout the year. It is a 30 minute class, one day a week, with several different activities, sign language, and lots of fun!
The GYMSTERS mission is to provide young children with the physical education building blocks they need to be active, healthy, and knowledgeable adults.

Exercise |
Scrambled eggs! Scramble yourself every which way without bumping into friend. Walk, stop & drop, run, hop. |
Activity 1 |
Golf fun! Children will be taught proper technique in holding the club and drive the ball as far as they can. |
Activity 2 |
Sticky mits! Place mits on floor and toss from your square. Will it stick or bounce away? Older children toss. |

The children are elated when the GYMSTERS teacher approaches the school, because they anticipate participating in a stimulating class with several new activities. Each child is educated with the following objectives in mind: health, fundamental motor movements, social enhancement, character building, leisure planning, and home interaction.
GYMSTERS instills in children how to put forth their best effort by providing a basic foundation for motor development. GYMSTERS challenges children to develop and enhance their age-appropriate skills while having heaps of fun. Sign language introduced!
GYMSTERS provides positive competitive attitudes that include social-emotional cooperation, communication, and rule introduction through the use of continually changing innovative lessons.
Unique equipment and rotating lessons are the impetus children need to improve fitness, health, aerobics, nutrition, and educational fun.
