9:12pm
Wednesday the country wide strike was big like a parade but uneventful. The team stayed in the hotel, practiced their dramas and got much needed rest.
Thursday (today) the 3 teams went to 30 schools and reached approx 15-20,000 students.
Friday the teams will go out in the morning to more schools, then come back in the afternoon and prepare for their crusade which starts at 5:30pm (which is 3:30pm our time). So be in prayer for us. We are expecting 20,000 people to attend. At approx 6:30pm we will begin the dramas, testimonies and then preaching. The crusade is expected to last until around 8:30pm (6:30 pm our time). The Extreme team will be back for the crusade.
We are still unable to send pictures, although we have taken many. We will be able to share the pictures when the team gives their report on a Sunday evening.
Extreme Team update:
David Sullivan came back a day early with a portion of their team. He reported that they would take the river up to different jungle communities, some as large as 1,000 people and some as small as 200 people. They would go to the little 1 room schoolhouses that held around 30 kids with the local missionaries and drop off books, and perform dramas. Every night they would use their generators and video equipment and show the God Man Videos that Book of Hope made. Each night there were altar calls and many decisions were made and people dedicating their babies to Christ.
