Monday: Areas of Iquitos declared Monday a holiday and closed most schools. The teams were only able to get into around 12 schools. The teams still did street ministry, dramas etc. There were many who accepted Christ. The Extreme Jungle Team are on their way on the river. They won't return until Friday. Today (Tues) things should be back to normal with the school systems. Wednesday… keep the team in prayer as the Country of Peru is going on Strike. What that means no one is quite sure, other than stores and schools are being closed, and the team is staying put at the hotel. This is not uncommon. |
