Retreats
Two district retreats are held each year: NCN District Women's Retreat (formerly Uptown Getaway) and the Mt. Hermon Retreat. There are wonderful speakers , great concerts and enriching workshops. This is also a terrific opportunity to get to know other women from Bethel and other Assemblies of God churches in our district . You can find information regarding both of these retreats online at www.agncn.org. Pick up a brochure at the Women's Ministry counter in the foyer or call the church at 246-6790 x229.
Women's Ministries also offer in-house retreats from time to time which allow women an opportunity for extended study and fellowship while keeping the event as cost effective as possible. Plus, you get to sleep in your own bed! Check the bulletin for the next Bethel Retreat.
Spring Tea and Fashion Show
This is one of two main outreaches that Bethel Women's Ministries hosts each year. With annointed speakers, fantastic music, our own Bethel models and delicious food, you can invite friends and neighbors for a wonderful time together. This year's Tea and Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11:00am in the Bethel Life Center. The cost is $13 for ladies and $7 for girls (9 years of age & under).
Christmas Brunch
With an average attendance of 500 women, our Christmas Brunch is special in that each table is designed and set in each individual hostess' unique way. Mark your calendar and plan to join us on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 10:00am in the Bethel Life Center. Please see a board member at the Women's Ministry counter or call the church at 246-6790 x208 if you would like to host your own table this year.
Dickens Faire
This 2008 event, to be held November 7, 8, & 9, is our largest fundraiser for missions. Women's Ministries raises and gives approximately $20,000 to Women's Ministries Projects through this event. Antiques, handmade crafts, Christmas decorations and homemade goodies make this event a favorite every single year. Please consider being a vendor, volunteer or a shopper! Everyone does their part to make the event the success it is. [Vendor Application]
